Projects and tasks are the activities which you can track time against with the Project Time Tracking solution. These allow you to see how much time has been spent working on a specific project, task, type of activity or client.

Each project corresponds to a folder which contains its relevant sub-projects and tasks. The display is similar to Windows Explorer. In the Projects and Tasks display, you can see all projects and tasks that are enabled for you.

Managers can see all projects and tasks by default, but it is also possible to restrict certain projects so that only a limited user set has access to track time on these tasks.

permission

You can start time tracking for a specific task from this display by clicking on the play symbol next to the relevant task.You can start time tracking as a user from this display, but do not have the authorization to edit, delete or move projects and tasks.

You can grant permissions to certain users to create and edit projects and tasks if desired.
