Clients are fairly self-explanatory. These are the customers which your are working on a project for. It is possible to create these clients within TimeTac and then assign them to specific projects which they belong to.

As a result, you can view statistics and produce reports based on clients, and you can provide them limited access to TimeTac, allowing them to see reports for the projects that they are involved in.

Create Clients

Navigate to Client Administration within the Project Management menu. Depending on whether you want to grant the client access to TimeTac, click on New Client or New Client with Web-Access.

If you decide at a later date that you would like to enable/disable web-access for a client, then this can be done via the symbols in the last column of the display.

In the new line that has appeared, double click in each field and fill in the relevant information. The only compulsory field is the Client Name.

Assign a Client to a Project

You can now select a client from the Client dropdown. This client will be automatically applied to all sub-projects and tasks.
