Notifications Overview

Notifications are the internal alerts/messages sent to users when actions have been done. Notifications can include confirmations that a user has submitted a request or that there are issues with a timestamp.

Timestamp Notifcations

Notifications regarding timestamps can either be sent by TimeTac to a user, or between users and their managers.

TimeTac will inform a user of any issues with a timestamp, such as exceeding the maximum working time allowed within your company, and will provide a direct link to make the necessary changes.

If a user submits a request to alter a timestamp, a notification of this request is sent to their appropriate manager or supervisor. This ensures the manager sees this request and can process it as soon as possible.

The symbol beside the notification shows the current status of the request; whether it is still to be processed, has been accepted or has been declined.

Leave Management Notifications

If you use the Leave Management solution from TimeTac, then notifications display the current status of your leave request. The relevant manager is informed of a request via a notification on their Dashboard and can process it quickly. The user can then follow the current status of the request via their Dashboard.

Synchronisation Notifications

These notifications appear infrequently. These suggest that there was an issue synchronising the time tracking data from the smartphone application. Check the time tracking records directly within the smartphone application and compare these with those in the browser based version of TimeTac. Remember to request any necessary alteration changes to your timestamps.

Certain notifications are also sent to the registered e-mail address of a user. To configure these alerts or to find out more, please contact
