How can I see an overview of absences for the entire company?
Employee Time Tracking
Project Time Tracking
Leave Management

The Department Calendar shows you the absences of employees in a department per month.

TimeTac offers you an overview of all absences per calendar year. Absences are individually displayed as leave days, sickness, comp time or other leave types. Public holidays relating to specific countries are already included in TimeTac and can be assigned to employees via the Settings menu.

Filters

The dropdown filters allow you to easily cycle between months and years to display. The final dropdown menu allows you to display the working hours for each individual day. Managers will have an additional dropdown menu to select different departments, if these have been assigned to them in the Settings menu.

Display Blocks

display-blocks

Each of the various leave types are displayed with their own coloured blocks, as well as an abbreviation and a tooltip with the type of absence. If you are also using the Employee Time Tracking solution, and the working time model for that employee is correctly defined, then non-working days (e.g. Weekends for office workers) will be displayed as light grey blocks.

Request Absences

You can easily right-click on the desired day for which you would like to request an absence. Select the type from the context menu and specify the Period that you would like to request. The duration will be calculated automatically, taking non-working days (such as weekends and public holidays) into account. If you wish, you can provide a comment, then simply click Request to finish.

If you select the same start and end date for the Period, the Duration field will become active. You will be able to choose between 0.25, 0.5, 0.75 and a whole day. If you select a value less than a whole day, you must also specify when the requested period should begin.

Managers can also enter absences for employees within their department in this manner.

Sync and Export

sync-and-export

The displayed data can be exported in .xml, .xls and .csv formats, as well be printed.
