Status Overview

The displays the current working status of employees. Beside the employee, it will display when they started working, and if you are using Project Time Tracking it will also display the currently running task. It also displays the current status of employees that are not working; break times, leave days, comp time, sickness etc. are all visible here.
What Employees Can See
Employees, by default, can see the current working status of other employees within their department. Employees within a department can also see any sub-departments, but sub-departments cannot see the main department. Employees can see the current projects that their colleagues are working on, but not the specific task.
Managers can see the exact project and task an employee is working on.
Status Icons
The coloured status gives an overview of the current working status of an employee.
- Green: The employee is working.
- Yellow: The employee is away from the workplace (e.g. on a break, sick, on leave).
- Red: A working hours violation has occurred (e.g. employee has worked more than then defined period of time without taking a break or the employee missed the start of the core working hours, as defined by their working time model).
Starting and Stopping Tasks for Others

Managers have the ability to start and stop tasks for employees within their department. An example of this use case would be that an employee was unable to reach their workstation to start time tracking, or they left the office and forgot to log out.
To start a task, simply click on the play symbol beside the relevant employee, then select the relevant values for Task and Start Time.
To end a task, simply click on the stop symbol beside the employee’s name and confirm that you wish to end the current task.
