With TimeTac you can track working hours automatically. Authorized employees can edit time stamps. TimeTac is capable of ensuring that employees adhere to break regulations whether they are statutory or internal company policy.
To make sure your employees’ time will be tracked automatically please proceed as follows:
Step 1:
It must be defined in the employee’s work schedule that times should be tracked automatically. You should not change any existing templates that are already in use. First create a new work schedule template with automatic time tracking. Proceed as follows:
1. Navigate to the left side menu Settings – Templates – Work Schedules.
2. Click on a a line in the column Templates. (for example Flexible hours: 40h/week)
3. Then click on Copy Template.
4. Now you can edit the name of the template with a double click on the line. (for example Flexible hours: 40/week_automatic)
5. Click on Flexible hours: 40/week_automatic to edit the template.
6. Then click on the line Monday.
7. Now click on Add.
8. Now click in the added line in the column type of hours, edit the time frame and select automatic entry from work schedule.
Step 2:
Allocate employees to the newly created work schedule:
1. Click on the left side menu Settings – User Settings – User Management.
2. Click in the middle of a line to select an employee.
3. Navigate to the right side menu and select Work Schedules, Public Holidays.
4. Wählen Sie das Arbeitszeitmodell aus, das vorher erstellt wurde. (in diesem Beispiel 40h/ Woche automatisch)
5. Select the time frame from where on the work schedule should be apply.
6. Click on the checkbox next to Book working time automatically as per work schedule
7. Select a task for automatic writing of timestamps.
8. Click on Save.
