TimeTac allows you to define various Responsibilities for numerous request types. The manager is the individual who is responsible for processing any requests from their assigned employees.
When managers themselves are absent due to annual leave or other reasons, they can define a substitute to process their requests until they return. This allows for continual processing of absence requests from employees without creating a delay or backlog.
Checking Responsibilities

When accessing the option within the menu, select a user with the Manager user group to see their current responsibilities. These can be found by expanding the panel and clicking the button next to Responsibilities.
Defining a Substitute
A substitute can be defined in the dropdown menu below. This user must also be a manager. You can optionally define an absence note which will be displayed in the screen.
A substitute will automatically receive the absence requests of their counterpart from the begin date of the absence. These requests will stop being sent to the substitute as of their counterparts return to work.
