The TimeTac Public Holiday Calendar helps users of Employee Time Tracking achieve and maintain the Timesheet Report. Numerous pre-defined holiday calendars from different countries can be found in the Settings, under Public Holiday Calendar.

Display a Public Holiday Calendar

To see the holidays of a particular calendar, first select the country, then the relevant template with a mouse click. In the right hand panel you will now see all the public holidays of that calendar.

Edit a Public Holiday Calendar

To edit a particular holiday calendar, select it with a mouse click. The right panel will display all of the holidays in that calendar. You can add a new holiday by clicking on Add. To delete a holiday, first click on the desired holiday, and then on Delete. To edit a holiday, double click on the specific value and simply overwrite it.

A value of 1 implies that the day does not need to be worked. It is also possible to enter a value of 0.5 to allow half a day free from the workplace.

Create a New Public Holiday Calendar

To create a new public holiday calendar, click on Add in the window Templates for: [selected country]. Double click on the newly created blank line and type a desired name for the new calendar. In the right hand panel you can now add new public holidays to your calendar by clicking on Add.

Assign a Public Holiday Calendar

Once you have created or edited your public holiday template, you can assign it to a user via the Settings menu.

Individual employees can be assigned to different Public Holiday Calendars, making the time tracking solution easy to use across multiple regions and countries.
