Overview

Employee Time Tracking is primarily concerned with recording time and attendance of employees. This includes the arrival and departure times, as well as the duration of the working day.
Additional data is also captured, such as length of breaks, any overtime earned and balance of working hours.
Employees simply login to the application, via a desktop browser or smartphone, and click one button to start tracking the working time. There is another button for tracking break times, then at the end of the day, a click on the stop button will end the time tracking. It is a simple user-interface which requires little input from the employee.
Work Schedules

Work schedules are essential to Employee Time Tracking. They are templates which tell the system when the employee should be working and for how long. You can specify on which days the employee should work, as well as the amount of hours. You can also define specific time frames for each day: which periods count as normal working hours, when are the core working hours when the employee must be at the workplace and if the employee can earn overtime between specific times.

Timesheet Reports

Timesheet Reports are detailed reports of employee working hours. However, the added bonus is that they incorporate the working time models to show you key figures of the employee’s working hours, compared to the target hours that are defined in their template. This shows you a balance of working hours for each day, as well as any overtime that the employee has earned.
The Timesheet Report shows many detailed figures, yet all of the calculations are done automatically by the system, ensuring the data is accurate and reliable.

Employee Reports

Employee reports, such as Employee Statistics and Department Statistics, show you detailed information regarding the working hours of all employees, or all employees grouped into their respective departments.
Once again, these working hours are compared to the target hours as defined by the working time model, showing balances between the two figures.
All data, such as that contained within any of the reports, can be exported from TimeTac in numerous formats to use as you wish.
